I believe my best artwork was my was my architecture one because I believe it was the one I was most creative with. If I had to redo an artwork it would be my figure one because it felt too much like a copy even though it turned out nice. To become more creative was my goal for this class and I feel that going forward it will help me with stuff like presentations. If i could make art out of whatever I want it would definitely be built in a video game. Games like Ark, Minecraft, and Conan have great building features and if I had the choice I would have made my architecture project in a game.

Standards EvidenceAmerican Indian artist like Frank BIg Bear usually include stuff important to them in their artwork like their history. The thing i think is the most important to me is the internet. While playing games online I have made some friends that I have played and talked with for over 2 years. I believe that video games are a form of art that can reflect a life you may never have. For example, you can play open world games and explore the unknown or you can play a story game and learn of past tragedies. Artist StatementIf I had to describe my artwork I would say it looks like a big Z with video game fish painted on. I made it using a cardboard like thing for the main structure and using paper cups and paper tape to keep it sturdy. I got the idea to do this from my teacher. My goal as an artist is to become more creative and I think this has helped me move towards that goal. I think it was a success as it turned out better than I hoped.
Target Evidence My sculpture base on alberto giacometti's work has a slanted pose which represents someone being lazy. My main audience for this would be children hence the blue finish instead of a more metallic look. If I could display it anywhere I would put it in a park because I think it would be ironic to have a lazy sculpture in a place where children are active and playing. I plan on sharing my sculpture ______ because _______. Artist StatementIf I had to describe my artwork I would say it looks like a metallic man. I made him using wire, paper towels, acrylic paint, and a styrofoam base. My artwork was made using a guide from blick art. My goal as an artist is to become more creative and i think this work has not helped that much as it was almost a copy. I think this was a success as i loved how it turned out even though it might not have been as unique as i would have.
I finished my clay project. I made a small cup using slab and am happy with how it turned out. Right now I am working on a figure sculpture and I have no idea what what it means or what i'm going to talk about when i have to share it. Target EvidenceI asked my teacher if there was anything that would better my sculpture and she told me that the bottom looked a bit empty and the rolls looked unfinished. I thought about what she said and decided to paint the inside of the rolls and paint the bottom. I chose to work with rolls, buttons, and popsicle sticks because i haven't used them much before. Getting the rolls to stand with the button i wanted to put in the middle was difficult so i decided to put a rock thing on popsicle stick and glue the roll to the base. Artist StatementIf i had to describe my artwork i would say it looks like 4 yellow towers supporting a black circle with a blue branch like pattern at the bottom. I made my sculpture using rolls, buttons, rock thing, popsicle sticks, and paint. I was inspired by the Dot, Dot, Dimension lesson. My goal as an artist is to become more creative and this sculpture has definitely helped me. I think this was a success as it turned out even better then i planned.
I chose to make this out of more than just cardboard because all i have been using before is cardboard. I had trouble getting the rolls to stand with a popsicle stick in them, so i cut a hole in the back and put a rock thing on it. It would still fall over so i ended up just using tacky glue and glued them to the ground. Target EvidenceI searched for inspiration for two days until i was introduced to Siah Armajani's work. Siahs work inspired me to make an artwork about the interior of a building instead of the exterior. While working on my project i noticed i could do many things with cardboard, such as make stairs or hatches. I tried paper tape for the first time on a large scale and it holds better than i expected. Artist Statement
This week we started our architecture project. I had trouble finding what i wanted to make until i saw Siah Armajani's art.
I don't consider myself to be a great artist. I hope i can learn how to think more creatively. My biggest goal for this semester is to take more risk as i usually don't take very many risk.
